Franklin Suzuki Academy
Franklin Suzuki Academy is a non-profit music school that offers Suzuki music instruction in violin, viola, and cello for students ages three through eighteen in Middle Tennessee. We strive to create an environment that nurtures artistic growth, character development, and a life-long love of learning for all ages and abilities.
Franklin Suzuki Academy is a donor-supported resource for music education and artistic development in our community. We tried other sources for violin lessons, but my son just didn’t respond to college student teachers. The faculty at Franklin Suzuki Academy are all experienced educators and performers. The progress my son made over a one year period was incredible. I can’t recommend this music school enough!
We love Franklin Suzuki Academy! FSA offers high quality string instruction in a low-pressure environment. The teachers are all highly-educated and experienced in teaching music to children of all ages, helping our kids not only develop musical skills but a love of music.
FSA is a place of friendship and community for my kids, and a place to use music in service of the community through public group performances through Nashville and the surrounding communities. My kids are learning to play their string instruments beautifully and learning how music can enrich their lives and the lives of others.
All three of my kids take violin lessons here and we couldn't be happier! They range in age from 8-13 and have made so much progress! The sense of community is great and the kids really enjoy getting together with their friends to practice/play. The instructors are awesome and our kids are always excited to go to their lessons and group classes.
We love Franklin Suzuki Academy! The teachers are amazing and care so much about their students. They are continuously working to provide the best for their students, whether through recitals and other performance opportunities, or through their own education to bring in new perspectives to the classrooms. Franklin Suzuki is welcoming not only to young students who are just starting out, but also to older students who undoubtedly benefit from Suzuki training to supplement middle school or high school orchestra.
