Our program consists of two 16-week semesters, Fall & Spring, that include weekly private and group lessons plus a flexible Summer term. In addition to weekly instruction, FSA provides multiple solo and group performance opportunities and additional enrichment electives for advancing students. You may enroll at any time during the year.
Violin, Cello
30-minute private lesson and weekly group class for Pre-Twinkle through Suzuki Book 1 Violin & Cello.
Violin, Cello, Viola
Weekly private lesson plus 45-minute group class for Late Book 1 - Book 4+ Violin, Viola, Cello
Violin
The fiddle elective class is for students in Suzuki book 3+. Co-taught by Annalise Ohse and Sarah Mitchell, this supplemental class will explore tunes of various fiddling styles including old time, bluegrass, Irish, and swing.
Viola
This weekly 30-minute group class is designed to build reading and performance skills for Viola program students. This class is supplemental to the core Suzuki 2 class.
Cello
Monthly 60 minute group class for advanced cello students in Suzuki Book 4+. This class will explore technique, ensemble. and performance skills.
